On Sept 3, 2009 I am taking a small group of friends to the Island of Kea in Greece. There is a wonderful cooking school run by Aglaia Kremezi, an internationally renowned cookbook author and chef. Aglaia has agreeded to host us in a very special week of cooking, exploring the private homes of her friends and learning about the life of this unique island of Kea.

The week that we are arranging will include special dinners out in the local villages, opportunities to sample wonderful wines from the region and stay at one of the best small hotels on the island, The Red Tractor Farms. The cost of the total week will be $3600 per person, this price includes everything from the moment we meet in Athens on the morning of Sept. 3 until we depart the ferry dock back in Athens on the morning of Sept. 8.

Our hotel in Athens will be an extra cost. We can offer you a list of hotels to stay in Athens before and after our week in Kea.

I have several people already interested but want to keep the group small so we can go to visit private homes on the island and sneak into those hidden places. If you or anyone you know is interested in joining on our fantasy island visit please let me know.
